Long Way Home is a song by 5 Seconds of Summer from their self-titled debut album. It is the ninth track on the album, and features backing vocals from song co-writer and lead singer of All Time Low, aka king of pop punk, Alex Gaskarth.
Critical Reception
On July 22, 2014 in a track-by-track Billboard review, writer Jason Lipshutz stated: "The tempo slows down slightly as the band tosses out a shiny pop-rock confection that wouldn't sound out of place on a OneRepublic album (or, you know, a Supertramp greatest-hits collection). "Long Way Home" isn't the most immediate song on "5 Seconds of Summer," but fits in nicely as a transitional track." [1]
