Somewhere New is an extended play by 5 Seconds of Summer. It includes one song from their first EP Unplugged and one song from their debut studio album 5 Seconds of Summer. Their first single Out of My Limit was made available on the Target edition of the album. The EP was released on December 7, 2012 through Capitol Records.

- Throughout late November and early December 2012, the band teased artwork, and revealed their first proper music video - for the song Out of My Limit.[1]
- They launched Out of My Limit by playing a special hometown show at the Metro Theatre in Sydney.[1]
